Tonight's the night!!! Bring on the sparky get ups, metallic make up and champagne showers (ok, maybe hold the showers.) For my last #ramaholiday post I wanted to end with a bang. Literally...a confetti push pop! I bought this little Club Monaco set a few months ago thinking I'll wear a few times but have surprised myself with it's versatility. I've been wearing it as separates instead of together but what better time than NYE for fun, sparkles on sparkles??? The more, the better tonight. Same goes for makeup! Take full advantage of being able to do whatever the hell you want tonight. Click through to learn how to get my silverly eye look and messy side swept hair! Thank you for reading and happy new year!!!

Wine mouth seems like it'd be embarrassing and avoided at all costs, amiright?? Alas it's quickly become a go-to holiday beauty look poppin up all over blahgs, instagram, pinterest, tumblr and the rest of the interwebs. For the second to last #ramaholiday look (ummm I can't believe December is over what??) Crystal showed me how to embrace wine stained lips and gave me cool girl hair to match. I'm a big believer in keeping things simple when it comes to dressing, so what better NYE dress alternative than a chic little romper?! If you haven't realized it yet...I'm obsessed with stars printed on everything so this crepe one piece is a winner. Unfortunately I waited to post these photos too long so it's sold out everywhere :( BUT I included some cute alternatives at the end of the post.  Since it's actually chilly in LA now, bare legs are an evening no-go unless you want to be THAT girl shivering in the corner of the party. I paired unexpected sheer dot tights with my trusty (and surprisingly comfy) Saint Laurent ankle boots for a NYE party look that'll keep me dancing and having fun without worrying about any wardrobe malfunctions or high heel discomfort. With NYE just around the corner, it's time to start planning your look. I've never really been a "party dress" kind of girl (jeans and a sparkly top are typically the extent of my going out-look) but this year I thought I'd try doing the sexy dress route and man am I feelin myself. It's crazy how unexpectedly  sexy I felt slipping into a slinky little dress. I'm all about doing an unexpected look for evening...there's nothing worse then seeing four girls in the same exact dress as you. Hair & makeup also make a world of difference. For this look Crystal gave me a pretty rose gold cat eye and the perfect messy low bun I will now attempt to recreate on a weekly basis. Click through to read Crystal's tips on achieving this beauty look and shop my curated selection of unexpected NYE dresses!

For the third #ramaholiday look I tried out the lazy girl's going out look aka the miraculous jumpsuit. Ummmmm how have I not tried this before??! Jumpsuits are a game changer. Seriously. All you have to decide on are shoes and your jewelry game. So basically the perfect holiday party or really ANYday or night outfit. So I've really gotten into the holiday spirit this year and in turn have a  sliiiiight obsession with metallics now. Enter: the metallic leather legging. When paired with all black, this legging is surprisingly easy to wear and gets all the compliments. At first glance in the store they seem waaay out of my comfort zone but once I thought of ways to style the options are pretty much endless. Who knew metallic leather could play as a neutral? Tis the season for...RAMA HOLIDAY. Ok, so the caps are a little aggressive but I'm super excited to finally share my first holiday inspired look! I combined forces with bomb dot com makeup artist and hair magician, Crystal Liz, for this month's posts! Although I'm usually super  minimal (surprise, surprise) when it comes to makeup, I low-key love experimenting and buying hoarding new products.   Click through to get some tips & tricks from Crystal, shop the products and get this look!

Levi's is one of my favorite denim brands. Classic quality with perfect fits and washes. I recently teamed up with the rad fashion community + app, Threads, to show how I "do it denim." I put together two looks that are comfy, casual and perfect for LA's "winter." (LOL what is winter) Join me on Threads (here) and show us how you do it denim. Posting your denim look enters you to win a $500 Levi's shopping spree and photoshoot! Update!!! Click through to check out the winner

My favorite winter combo? Oversized knit with a fun little mini skirt. Add sheer black tights for perceived warmth. The perfect LA winter look...about 3 points for warmth but 1000000 for hella cool girl vibes. Not gonna lie, I got a little chilly shooting this look in NYC's 50 degrees so maybe not the look if you freeze easily. I personally like my legs and am more self conscious of my waist/stomach so I've always been a fan of pairing oversized on top with a straight mini skirt. It's a great way to de-girly a skirt and show off some leg. Anyone can pull off a sweater and jeans...a sweater and party skirt? Unicorn-rare. Now you can buy all the sparkly NYE party options you want with an ootd idea to take them into the daylight. I'm all about versatility and taking typical "night" pieces and making them wearable. Layers, people.

Last month I was able to spend a few weeks in my favorite city and escape the LA heat. I was beyond excited to be able to layer and actually wear leather during the day. What better to pair leather pants with than a simple white tee and more leather? I felt a little over the top at first but felt all kinds of 007 cool after walking around. I actually ended up wearing the same exact outfit to the airport the following day. Nothing better than super soft leather, that looks chic and is low key comfy AF. It looks like Thanksgiving brought the sweater weather to LA. FINALLY. Best way to wear a chunky oversized knit? Minimal effort: messy topknot, boyfriend jeans & literally the comfiest sneakers. I love how wearing a chic colored turtleneck instantly elevates an otherwise ridiculously casual outfit. The creamy color lends itself perfectly for day to night dressing. I mean...throw it over leather leggings with some ankle booties and you're ready for a dinner/movie date.  Click through to see more pics and also to shop my favorite under $100 sweaters. Because ain't nobody got time for expensive sweaters when your flight home for the holidays is pushing a grand. Ayyyyoooo.

As you've probably seen on my instagram, I recently partnered with J Brand Jeans & Bumble App to show how I rock leather for date night. If you've been following me for an extended period of time, you know I'm a leather & denim fiend so this collab was the perfect match. Pun intended. Obviously I styled their awesome leather leggings in bad a**, all black fashion for super boss b*tch vibes because  bumble let's the GIRL be the boss. With Thanksgiving is seriously only a week away (what??) I'm already dreaming of roast turkey and pumpkin pie...and am already planning my food baby-concealing outfit. The trick to looking cute and not having to give a f*ck about mashed potato bloat is a swing dress with cute details. Pair with sheer black tights, some cute ankle booties and a jacket and you're ready to go. Here are some of my favorite options available online you can still get in time for Turkey day. Oooo they're almost all (expect one) under $150! Cause who's trying to spend more than that with holiday gifts adding up?
So I've been in NYC the past two weeks and am pretty sure all the dessert for lunch and late night gelato "runs" are finally catching up. Is it weird to say I'm almost relieved to be heading home and back to green juices and hitting the gym? As much as I love traveling, it's hard to stay on a healthy routine when you're living out of a suitcase in a hotel room with no kitchen/fridge. Here's a look I shot a few weeks back of a casual gym-to-street look. Mostly posting this as inspiration for myself and as a reminder to avoid the sweet options at JFK tomorrow afternoon. Although I'm definitely not that girl working out in just a sports bra, I do like that this jacket is kinda see through so you can show a little bit of skin and still be able to breathe without worrying what your stomach looks like. FYI I was for sure flexing in these pics but maybe the next few weeks in the gym will have me feeling less marshmallow-y.  (Side note: Magnolia Bakery icebox cake is the best thing I've ever eaten, recipe here. Make this immediately and thank me later)

Why didn't I try out jumpsuits earlier??? You can seriously be dressed & out the door in 15 seconds flat. This super rad denim one from Urban Outfitters is the comfiest thing ever AND looks super cool with a classic motorcycle jacket thrown over. I love how versatile jumpsuits are...wear with sneakers for a day full of errands or throw on some sexy heels and a cat eye for a hot night out. How would YOU wear this??

Sometimes I just want to wear gym clothes. Not because I'm going to workout (lol) but because I'm lazy and don't want to bother doing my hair or putting on jeans. I mean...spandex shorts, a comfy sweatshirt and sneakers are pretty much the comfiest combo, ever. Am I right??? Also, this look works best on the dirtiest hair days because you can throw it up in a messy top knot and it just looks like you're very serious about your gym routine. Little does anyone know...you've haven't washed your hair in a week and have zero plans of getting sweaty today. Shhhhh
Well guys, I finally had time to go through and edit photos from the last time I shot blog stuff. Yay! Although it still feels like summer here in LA, I figured I'd start styling some more fall-appropriate looks. First up, my favorite fall combo. Sweater, jeans & ankle booties. Yes, it's basically my everyday uniform (swap tee for sweater) BUT it's for a reason. Comfy but still put together is my personal style mantra.

I'm a sucker for tomboy shit so I basically pee'd my pants when the bomb dot com team at Vans sent over this personalized teal bomber. At first I was like "oh cool, a bomber" but then I saw Rima embroidered on the front (AND back!) and have basically worn it everyday since. Although you can't order it personalized directly from Vans...you can get it through my little sister who can embroider just about anything.
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting a little something something for Alexx Jae and Milk.  I played around all day in super comfy basics with true Rima Rama styling...aka denim, ankle booties, lots of BLACK, sunnies and bandanas. Can't wait for this gross heat to die down so I can finally wear these looks irl. Click through to see some of my favorite photos from the shoot and shop new AJM arrivals here!

Yup, it's mid October and it's still hot out. 100 degrees this past weekend?? Ew is about all I have to say at this point. I've been really into skirts lately (mainly because jeans make my butt sweaty) and this suede mini from Zara has been my jam. It's super soft suede leather and feels like an $800 skirt, while it's only 99 bucks. Score. I'm stoked to rock this into cooler weather with a pair of semi sheer black tights and a turtleneck.
Tevas are comfy af and perfect for summer. How can we keep that party going, now that summer's officially over? SOCKS. Although it's not quite sweater weather yet adding an extra layer; denim jacket & socks, feel "fall." Yeah I'l admit, it feelt a little weird and dorky to rock socks with sandals at first. Comfort level? THREE THOUSAND. Would you do it?
Apparently no amount of wishing for sweater weather is gonna work. It's still hot. Ugh. Well, I guess I'll finally give in and wear a crop top instead of being miserable. I'm seriously sweating at my desk while I type this with a massive fan from target pointed at my face. Only jeans appropriate for this weather? Boyfriends. Heading to hot yoga in a minute because I might as well fully embrace this heat and shower later. Byeeeeee

Just when we thought the summer heat was over...boom. 90 degrees and humid AF. Ugh. I'm seriously out of hot weather ideas and have been wearing the same thing for the past few days. It's almost too hot for denim on denim but I'm doing it anyway. Paired this little Rails chambray top with loose cropped skinnies. I'll admit I'd rather be wearing ankle boots but ain't nobody got time for sweaty feet. I'll stick to birks for the rest of the week and pray it cools down soon. Where's the sweater weather at??!

When it's hot as mother f*cker outside and you find yourself ducking into a starbucks every ten minutes (mostly for the AC) it's time to ditch the jeans and slip into something easy & oversized. Enter the NYTT tee dress. End of summer dressing, solved. Just pair with some comfy sneakers and a little cross body bag and you're good to go. Oversized tee dresses for the win.

Sometimes...a body con dress happens. Although I'm pretty sure this is a Fire on the Head first, my love for pairing oversized tops with a skinny bottom is nothing new. I've never been into body con dresses (surprise, surprise) but this simple ribbed tank one is kinda perfect. Not too short and not too tight. Although I don't normally wear a bra anyway, this dress keeps everything supported. Including the booty. Threw this super cool (and cozy as f*ck) knit on top to ease into the idea of wearing something tight. Who would've thought...body con on this blog?!? I'm ok with it.

I'm a denim girl, through and through. Be it in the form of a jacket, shirt, pant, baseball hat(it exists and I own it) or bralette; I'll take it all. When AG jeans asked me to style my favorite pieces from Alexa Chung's latest collection I was like oh you mean my style/hair/life inspo? That Alexa Chung?  Plus denim? Hell yes. I choose to pair these cool, cropped straight leg jeans with a jacket in the same shade. Broke up the denim-onepiece look with this cool hunter green knit tee and tied it at the waist to show a little skin. Sexin up a canadian tux and what have you. Am I Alexa Chung now or what

I had the pleasure of working with Who What Wear and fellow blogger chickies, Gracie & Rachel last month on a project in partnership with OG denim giant, Levi's®. We each had a chance to show our different personal style while showing our unique take on three different pairs of jeans. Click through to see my looks and check out the whole story here and read some of my denim styling tips.

Leather, vintage inspired tees, black and white...sounds right up my alley, right?? I was stoked when Volcom, in partnership with Refinery 29, asked me to style out a look from their new Ston
e Row collection. I paired the collections little shorts with the "Broke En" tee (aka the best faux-vintage tee ever) and layered the super rad leather jacket on top to add a little edge. Kept the rest simple with high top sneakers, no jewelry and bedhead. The perfect anti-summer, summer outfit. Shop the collection here and tell me what your favorite pieces are!
Oh hey, remember when I went to Rome last month? Here's another outfit post from my trip. We just happened to visit during a (relatively) cooler week and missed the super hot temps. Low to mid 80's all week meant I could get away with a denim jacket during the day. I loved this little dress from Aritzia as it fit loose throughout the body, keeping me cool. Both literally and figuratively. Paired with my sparkly Isabel Marant sneakers for major euro-tourist vibes. Can't wait to go back!
I'm all about day to night dressing. And by "day to night," I mean wearing the exact same outfit and throwing on a leather jacket. Who has time to go home and change?? LA summers are all about super hot days and (relatively) chilly evenings. The solution? Wear a light-weight tank during the day and keep a leather jacket in your trunk for dinner/drinks/night adventures. You'll stay just warm enough and look hella cool after the sun goes down.

Although the fourth of July has never really been a holiday I get into, I definitely had a great weekend. Fireworks, summer nights & BBQ? You can't go wrong. I kept it simple and opted to stick to my favorite, denim, instead of embracing the red & whites. Side note. How did I miss the Madewell denim train?? These are my new favorite jeans. That's seriously saying something considering the amount of skinnies I currently have folded in my closet (32!?!) Also picked up these little heeled sandals while I was in the store and have been wearing them everyday since. Super comfy to wear all day while adding the right amount of "chic-ness" to an otherwise casual outfit.

Although I think I've expressed my distaste for summer dressing let me repeat myself. I actually hate dressing for summer. I feel most comfortable in skinny jeans, sweaters and ankle boots. Black on black on black is kind of my style mantra. Although I'll usually take a little sweat action if it means I can wear my favorite pieces, this becomes a bit of an issue when it feels like mid 90's in the sun and jeans just aren't an option. I know these little denim skirts are v trendy right now but I couldn't help myself. Its super cute and was only fifty bucks. I figured, if I can't wear skinny jeans, at least I can sneak denim into my summer wardrobe in the form of a mini skirt that just happens to be the perfect rise to pair with cropped tops.

As you've seen from my instagram posts, I'm in Italy this week! Thankfully the mild weather this trip has allowed me to pretty much stick to my usual year-round basics; denim & silk. Although I said I'd never do it, I bought a pair of all black leather Birkenstocks while stopping in Toronto for a few nights late last week. I've got to say, they're kind of the comfiest shoes ever and I've worn them almost everyday here. This afternoon we wandered around and almost got caught in the late afternoon down pour. I'll be sad when we leave Saturday but know that I'll visit again. Arrivederci!
A quick peek at my instagram and you'll see that I have a serious passion for aussie labels. They just get it, everything from hair care packaging to back labels for tees is always on point. The Fifth Label is one of my favorite brands under the mega cool, Aus Fashion Labels clan (Finders Keepers, Keepsake, etc.) Super simple, elevated basics in cool girl cuts. The entire line are wardrobe must haves as they easily mix and match. Want to win at $150 gift card to BNKR to shop your favorite The Fifth Label, Cameo, Finders Keepers & Keepsake pieces?? Check out my instagram contest for all the deets!!
I need to start wearing more dresses. They're an easy, no-fuss, one and done. This little denim number by Sam & Lavi, via my new friends at zebraclub.com, is the perfect summer staple. Denim & a looser, bf fit makes it a great day to night option that looks just as cool with sneakers as it does with heeled ankle booties. Maybe I'll actually enjoy dressing for summer this year....maybe
When my friend Rachel told me that the hemp denim company she's been working with released a limited run denim jacket I jumped at the chance to check it out. Hemp/organic cotton blend, this jacket is the perfect wash and mid-weight denim. Perfect for summer evenings in LA thrown over a little tank and skinnies. You already know I'm already a huge denim chick but make it sustainable too?? Sold.
I love a good Canadian tuxedo. Maybe because I am from Toronto but most likely because it's easy and looks hella cool. Rails is one of my favorite button down brands because every piece is super soft, especially this denim shirt. Although I'd normally pair this top with black skinnies (booooring, I know) I decided to get with the summer season and wear my trusty levis cutoffs. I found this vintage pair a while back in a pile of random sh*t at a yard sale. They fit a little big but I'm into it as it feels much more "cool-girl" than the levis booty shorts I'm starting to see again. Sun's out doesn't always have to mean buns out....

Major case of the Mondays calls for baggy bf jeans & a comfy sweater. I've been super into these destroyed boyfriend jeans. They have just the right amount of slouch and distressing. I paired them with this simple crop tank, black slides and THE comfiest knit cardigan. Yeah, I'm throwing major bum vibes but idgaf because this outfit makes me feel like the weekend never left.

Well the up side to spraining my ankle on set Friday means I can finally get to the emails I've been lagging on and can also get some new posts up, being couch ridden is awesome! (that's sarcasm, fyi) So as you can tell from instagram...I've been wearing a lot of black lately, BUT these reworked vintage levis by ReDone have got me back on blue. I love that they're very stiff denim and are the perfect true-blue color. Kept it simple (duh) with a tee-blouse and sneaks cuz I like to pretend I'm a minimal-queen. Lol

Simpler is better, especially when it comes to summer dressing. I dread hot weather because I'm not the biggest fan of tank tops, shorts...not being able to wear black (the list goes on.) Although I use this rule everyday, "keep it simple" is the only way I can handle summer. Since I'm not the biggest fan of the standard summer uniform, I paired this lightweight cotton blouse with thin denim baggies for a cool and chic look. I know it almost errs on the side of boring, but it's a total win when you can look chic (and feel comfortable) all day and well into a hot summer evening. What's your summer go-to ootd??
Oh haaaay. So I know coachella was a hot minute ago and that I've been slackin on the posts recently (sorry!) but here's a little somethin somethin we shot in the desert during weekend one. I love this cool Iro Paris dress. The super simple cut and awesome laced neckline makes it the perfect one & done for summer day AND night partying. Paired it with a little leather backpack and ankle booties for casual (but still cool-girl) coachella vibes. More posts in the works and coming soon, I promise!
Last weeks gloomy, overcast weather called for something a little different. And by different I mean this tropical wrap top, duh. Color? Floral? What? It's not black and I weirdly love it. It makes me feel like I'm about jet off to Cabo for the weekend. Before you ask if I fell and hit my head...I didn't go TOO crazy and paired the print with a simple, suede mini skirt and oxfords. Although I can't say anything drastic will happen to my black wardrobe, I might just pop out this little top every once in a while when I'm in need of a mental vacation.

Had so much fun running around the desert last weekend (coachellaaaaa) and taking over the Line & Dot insta! Before I start bombarding you with desert recap pics, here's an outfit from a few weeks back. I fell in love with this deep scoop dress from Reformation, it's the perfect day to night piece. I was obviously very into the Coachella spirit and topped the dress off with a panama hat, denim jacket and mules for maximum palm springs babe vibes. I apologize in advance as I'll definitely be an outfit repeat offender with this dress. It's THAT good.

My pinterest beauty board is dominated by beauties with glowy skin, full brows and little else. I'm no beauty expert by any means, I'd like to think I've somewhat mastered the "no-makeup" - makeup look. Although the minimal makeup look seems like a bb cream & go situation...there are lots of products involved. With the focus on natural, luminous skin; prep is the most important. I always cleanse, prim and moisturize with spf. (I'm on a mission to keep my face skin cancer & sun spot free FOREVER.) Click through to shop my favorite products!
