I spent the last eight days of my final spring break (YAY) uber-ing around my favorite city. I was able to shoot with some super rad photographers, meet with a couple of my favorite new brands and also stumbled upon the best bottled salad dressing ever (Trader Joe's cilantro, OH MY GOD.) I also got a chance to explore areas I'm not frequently in. In Silver Lake I had the most delicious roasted corn and guacamole from a hidden gem called Mixto. I also grabbed an amazing cold brew coffee at Alfred on Melrose and might have inhaled a GF vegan zucchini brownie. Shhhhhh...It's healthy. Of course I had to head to the westside a few times to brunch at Gjelina on Abbott Kinney, check out the roof top at Hotel Erwin, grab a "mojitobox" from the dudes at Juicebox, wait in the ridiculous afternoon line at Urth on Main Street and also try groundworks coffee at the new Market upstairs in Santa Monica Place. Had an amazing break and will be posting the week's shoots as final selects trickle in. Excuse me while I revisit this post a million times to motivate myself until
hell exam week is finished in May. LA, I love you.
