I realized I haven't posted a Canadian tux look for a hot minute so today I'm in the perfect pair of light wash destroyed skinnies by Res Denim and favorite Forever 21 chambray. Remember when I was talking about becoming a light wash convert ?? Yeah...these are basically perfection. Amazing destroyed detailing on the knees and the comfiest mid rise make these THE light wash pair to have. What outfit is complete without a sweet little bag? Thanks to babe Megan at Remi & Reid for hooking me up with the best package ever, including this slouchy satchel cross body. Vegan pebbled leather, an adjustable length strap and the perfect size to fit my essentials and then some. In keeping with my all-denim-errythang theme I also threw on my military-inspired denim anorak jacket from Zara. On that #denimLYFE

If you follow me on instagram, which obviously you already do, you know how obsessed I've been with this amazeballs leather turband by Cult Gaia. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that this piece has made my life 10439502829 times better. Black leather with a bendable wire inside that allows you to wrap it around your head anyway you want. It's perfect for adding cool-girl vibes to your everyday tee and jeans OR equally bad ass in an all-black-err'thang night look. Bonus points... it's made locally in LA. Buy it now and thank me later.

In honor of yesterday's "fall transition" weather I wore my favorite sweatshirt, little denim shorties, vans and oversized sunnies. After a long week of exams and papers, a lazy topknot and no makeup felt appropriate for my Saturday morning (bout that biz school lyfe.) Still a little too warm for full on fall layering but I could still get away with rocking my favorite Blk Dnm sweatshirt. You know that point between exhaustion and delirium when everything becomes hilarious? Yeah...my face in these pictures pretty much sums that up.

It's Sunday morning. That means today's agenda for most of you involves brunch, hitting the farmers market and a little retail adventure. If you follow me on instagram, (obviously you already do) you'll see that I made a Zara trip on Friday and had some fun taking mirror selfies in the dressing room. Found an amazing black and white striped turtleneck sweater (top left) with 3/4 length sleeves that I just died for. It's baggy and looks perfect with black moto zip skinnies and a pair of ankle booties, which I ALSO happened to find. Leather with a two inch block heel, the booties (bottom right) have a slightly pointed toe. Not only would they rock with a canadian tux, they would be equally cool girl with a pair of semi-sheer black tights and an oversized shirtdress. So if you happen to find yourself in a Zara this afternoon...here are some pieces you should at least try on. Trust me. Besides...you do need some new pieces for your fall wardrobe. *nudge, nudge, wink, wink*

Sometimes a pair of kicks are just begging to be the center of attention...what better way to showcase neon nikes than in all white? I woremy new black & neon lunarglides with a sweet pair of bleached blk dnm skinnies and a loose jersey tee from Zara. White on white never looked so sporty cool girl...if I say so myself.

Memorial day marked the unofficial start of summer this past weekend. Fireworks, ice pops and watermelon abounded along with a seemingly endless variety of flag bikinis. In my own version of getting into "the patriotic spirit" I whipped out my favorite Blu Life striped racerback dress (previously seen in "westside till I die") from one of my favorite shops ever, Planet Blue on Abbot Kinney. What better way to American-a up my stripes than with the perfect denim button down?! (get it here) The shirt looks cool tied around your waist in the hot sun and doubles as the perfect light layer for post sunset breezes. Since I can't seem to take my favorite hat off...I let it add some cool-girl vibes to this look. Hope you had an amazing long weekend!

My favorite Levi's denim jacket again?? I'm obsessed, okay. Sorry I'm not sorry. This weekend required a look that was a little more than jeans and tee combo for my little brother's graduation ceremony so I opted for a take on one of my favorite looks (seen previously here.) A white Equipment blouse and faux leather mini skirt from ZARA gets a dose of casual cool with my Levi's jacket (also here) thrown on top. Pushed the sleeves up on both the blouse and jacket as per usual. I've also become quite obsessed with my delicate gold sale-section score necklace from Urban Outfitters (five bucks what?!), even though I've been swearing up and down "I'm not a gold girl." Sprayed some dry shampoo at my roots for volume and quickly ran a straightening iron through my hair to get the bedhead look. As far as makeup goes I did the usual routine: a touch of Bobbi Brown foundation stick, lip balm and a few swipes of mascara. Hope everyone had an amazing weekend and shout out to my awesome little brother for graduating!

Blue and white china print on my legs? Yes. Paired with a light chambray shirt in the same colors? Crazy! Although these printed pants would not be labeled "bold" by some, the cool paisley print definetley commands attention. Found these awesome pants at Zara. Surprise, surprise. Skinny-cut trousers with simple zipper and low pockets, these are an awesome wardrobe spucer-uper. Worn with a cool, relaxed shirt and pair of strappy, embellished sandals the usually stuffy trouser gets a fresh, downtown twist.

Lazy Sundays are best post-noon served with fresh fruit, a pot of coffee and a casual dose of leather and denim. If you follow me on Instagram you know I'm obsessed with my Levi's jacket (as seen HERE.) I've gotten to the point of having to make sure it doesn't make more than a weekly appearance, because honestly...I live in it. Here I added the jacket on top of a basic white racerback tank and my awesome new faux leather mini from Zara. Although I'm a huge advocate for real leather (quality, people!) this skirt made it to the dressing room...and obviously, into a shopping bag. For only thirty dollars how could I resist?! I love how easily the denim jacket takes a "girl's night out"-appropriate outfit and makes it casual enough for Sunday morning afternoon omelettes.
