omg shoes
Yeah I know I've been talking lots of sh*t on the birk-revival. Well, this happened. And before you say anything, no, my transition to the dark birk side wasn't thanks to Isabel Marant like everyone else has been claiming. Givenchy, b*tch. You know the jesus slide-sandal trend is real when Barneys starts selling O.G Birkenstocks in exclusive prints at 300 a pop. The only way, ONLY WAY, you will see me rocking this trend is if I magically win the lotto and can buy these Givenchy babies. Yeah, they're wanna be birks and kinda make me cringe and cry tears of joy simultaneously BUT look at the color ways!!! Oh, I'm sorry ROSE GOLD?! PYTHON? Sup, GOTH FLORAL?! Excuse me while I think of a great get-rich-quick scheme to buy every 850+ dollar pair. Before you think I've completely lost it, check em out for yourself. Even better (if possible) in person. Trust.
Oh, and you better answer when I call trying to sell you life insurance...
Yeah, I know summer is right around the corner and ankle booties are not exactly "in season," but f**k it. I'm totally crushing hard on h by hudson booties right now. All perfectly slouchy with cool detailing. They are the perfect ankle height that won't chop off your legs if you pair them with bare stems (summer essential ayy.) Be that one cool chick this spring by pairing lived in ankle booties with your looks instead of going with the jank birk trend. A pair of destroyed bf jeans and an oversized white tee with these babies throw ultimate #coolgirlvibes
Soooo can I have every pair now or naah

I've been obsessed with embellished heeled sandals since Isabel Marant SS 13. Yes, I know every blogger in the universe owns those same damn sandals and they were new, like, four seasons ago; I still love the way strappy sandals work with both skinnies and bare legs. Although these are not the real deal "carol sandal," as seen on blogger instagrams worldwide, they are a great match for achieving the same look at a quarter of the cost. I'm not always a Jeffrey Campbell fan but when they have these options, I can't avoid the JC groupie club.

Say hello to this perfect pair of strappy heeled goodness compliments of Dolce Vita's collab with Vanessa Mooney. *triple swoon* I need these in my life. Now now now. I can already see it...a summer full of Salton Sea princess adventures. Just as cool with cutoffs and a sweater for Eastside brunching as an alternative to my usual ankle bootie Midtown dinner situation. Ugh. Obsessed. Order them here right meow. Trust.

Completely and totally head over heels for these booties. I normally hate flowers, both IRL and as a pattern, but for some reason the subdued hues and ankle bootie form of Miista's "Ivy" just does it for me. They'd be perfect with a pair of ripped skinnies, an oversized white tee and a pair of classic wayfarers. B-day wish list numero uno.

I've been wearing black like the, not so undercover, goth girl that I am. It felt almost weird to be in a canadian tux again this weekend, a sign that it needs to become a regular ootd again. I paired a newer chambray from forever 21 with my favorite pair of dark rinse Koral skinnies. Added an oversized TNA wool sweater from Aritzia for semi-bulky warmth. Finished off with my boot pick of the season (these babies from solestruck) and a DIY bang trim. Sup winter, I'm ready for yewwwww.

Although I'm not really a skirt-wearing kinda girl the chilly, seemingly out of nowhere, Autumn breezes suddenly have me panicking to get in all the bare-leg time while I still can. So in true anti-girly skirt spirit I wore my favorite suede leather mini and paired it with a denim shirt. Denim and leather...always a good idea. Left the shirt lazily unbuttoned and rolled up the sleeves to avoid looking too *British accent* proper. Wore my favorite cut out booties by YES to keep it simple and add a little edge. Can it just be Saturday, everyday?

I realized I haven't posted a Canadian tux look for a hot minute so today I'm in the perfect pair of light wash destroyed skinnies by Res Denim and favorite Forever 21 chambray. Remember when I was talking about becoming a light wash convert ?? Yeah...these are basically perfection. Amazing destroyed detailing on the knees and the comfiest mid rise make these THE light wash pair to have. What outfit is complete without a sweet little bag? Thanks to babe Megan at Remi & Reid for hooking me up with the best package ever, including this slouchy satchel cross body. Vegan pebbled leather, an adjustable length strap and the perfect size to fit my essentials and then some. In keeping with my all-denim-errythang theme I also threw on my military-inspired denim anorak jacket from Zara. On that #denimLYFE
