A few weeks ago I found this great little bandeau bikini from H&M. Blame it on my Santorini pinterest board and minor destination obsession with Greece, there is no fresher color combo then blue and white. Although I typically stick to (surprise) black when it comes to swimwear, at 4.95 a piece I was much more willing to step out of my comfort zone. I don't normally rave about swim too often but seriously. This might be the best bikini ever. It's cut like a 200 dollar suit and actually gives me some cleavage, crazy. Get it (here) now and thank me later.
Yeah, I know summer is right around the corner and ankle booties are not exactly "in season," but f**k it. I'm totally crushing hard on h by hudson booties right now. All perfectly slouchy with cool detailing. They are the perfect ankle height that won't chop off your legs if you pair them with bare stems (summer essential ayy.) Be that one cool chick this spring by pairing lived in ankle booties with your looks instead of going with the jank birk trend. A pair of destroyed bf jeans and an oversized white tee with these babies throw ultimate #coolgirlvibes

I was able to stop by the Laer HQ last week in LA to peep their rad collection and play around for a few hours. For the first look of my Laer x Fire on the Head collab, I paired the perfect black moto jacket over a silky jersey tank and structured high waisted shorts...because that's the only way to rock an LJ in 80 degrees. There's no denying my love for LA. Waking up to 75 degrees and sunshine 97% of the year is god's personal gift to southern californians. Yeah NYC has crisp coat weather and the uniform in Miami is secured with strings....but LA is just...perfect. Yes, perfect. Freshly pressed juice within a three block radius from anywhere in the city? Check. Where lazy, late afternoon brunches are as much of a Wednesday thing as they are on weekends? Check. Where beach runs and a sunset hike can happen in the same day? Like I said, perfect. This pouch by maptote from fuggiamo reflects my love for the city of angels. Oh hiiiii more of my ongoing collaboration with American Eagle is now up on the AE blog + sent out out as an email blast. I was asked to style and play around in new "soft dressing" pieces. Every single piece is super comfy, almost like pj material, but look casual-cool and still appropriate for leaving the house. By now you've noticed that ripped knee skinnies have been getting major love in my ootd's. Perfect black skinnies have always been a closet staple but throw in some fading and distressing and BAM. Basic black denim that's fresh, a little edgy and perfect with everything. This pair by All Saints have been my go-to and are a definite closet must for spring. I've also been weirdly into blouses over the past few months and feel super *gasp* adult due the fact that my eye has been gravitating towards working girl wardrobe pieces like crisp, neutral button ups. I may or my not have a small hoard of silky blouses hanging in my closet now...shhhh. Although I don't foresee pencil skirts, stilettos and crimson lips in my near (or distant) future; dressing down a classic button up with ripped skinnies, strappy sandals and a thick belt gives off sophisticated cool girl vibes. This easy outfit combo has been my daily uniform for the past month, perfect for mixing cool with class. Because what's sexier than a cool chick who knows how to pull it together? A classy cool chick with kick ass confidence.

I've been obsessed with embellished heeled sandals since Isabel Marant SS 13. Yes, I know every blogger in the universe owns those same damn sandals and they were new, like, four seasons ago; I still love the way strappy sandals work with both skinnies and bare legs. Although these are not the real deal "carol sandal," as seen on blogger instagrams worldwide, they are a great match for achieving the same look at a quarter of the cost. I'm not always a Jeffrey Campbell fan but when they have these options, I can't avoid the JC groupie club.

Felt quite collegiate today studying for hella exams next week. Ugh, graduation could not come any sooner. Took a break from my notes in the library to take some pics of todays ootd in the grossly overcast light. Yes, I used "ootd" as a word shhhhh. Been pretty into blouses as of late and this raglan style one by Bella Luxx is my all time fav. Paired it with a new pair of super comfy Articles of Society skinnies and old ankle booties for an easy on campus look. Having just recently discovered AOS denim, shoutout to Monica at xPose PR for hooking me up, it's safe to say these skinnies will be making a regular appearance on here. The perfect dark blue skinnies have lots of stretch and feature the cutest little "A" back pocket detailing. Happy Thursday & #showyourAOS!
