A few weekends ago I talked Nicholas Maggio into running around my favorite hood to take pics. It was literally the perfect California day. 70 degrees, sunshine and breeeeezy. Ugh, biggest thing I miss about LA is the amazing late afternoon LIGHT. I'm wearing pieces from Brandy Melville and Reformation along with my favorite pair of New Balances. And yes, I am now a sneakers-with-dresses convert. I could barely narrow down images from my 70 selects, so here are sixteen of my FAV favs. Shame on me for only bringing two outfits...and forgetting a hairbrush. #westsidetillidie
American Eagle reached out to me a few weeks ago to see if I was interested in being apart of their "Bloggers do it Better" series. Of course I said YES. Having recently been reintroduced to the brand via my little sister, they've come a long way since my OG ae-wearing days. It was a no brainer to choose a great pair of jeans, in this case the hi rise jegging, to style for this collab. Super comfy and stretchy with the perfect not-too-high rise, these jeans are a definite wardrobe staple. Here I paired my jeggings with my favorite striped top and added a boyfriend fit jacket, also American Eagle, because "never enough" is my motto when it comes to denim. My heart goes out to those braving the snow, slush and gloomy NY weather for fashion week while I watch live stream shows from underneath my duvet. Although I've never really been one to discuss shows on here (YOLO,) I knew I had to after my instagram feed was clogged with amazing Wildfox show pics. Inspired by Jane Austen, "Sense & Eccentricity" was all creamy daydream colors, union jack pride and bedheaded beauts, wrapped in the standard Wildfox slouchiness I love. Also on tap...denim jackets and china print pajamas. A closet full of Wildfox never looked so good.
Felt quite collegiate today studying for hella exams next week. Ugh, graduation could not come any sooner. Took a break from my notes in the library to take some pics of todays ootd in the grossly overcast light. Yes, I used "ootd" as a word shhhhh. Been pretty into blouses as of late and this raglan style one by Bella Luxx is my all time fav. Paired it with a new pair of super comfy Articles of Society skinnies and old ankle booties for an easy on campus look. Having just recently discovered AOS denim, shoutout to Monica at xPose PR for hooking me up, it's safe to say these skinnies will be making a regular appearance on here. Nothing like leaving a late night Bottega Louie adventure with massive bag full of treats. 50 dollars for a desert "sampling," who DOES that?! Awesome people, that's who. The cheesecake and white choco covered pretzels were bomb (#FAT) but the earl grey macaroon is where it's at!!!! Oh my god. It tasted exactly like the warm, milky earl grey tea I would steal sips from my mom's afternoon mug as a kid. I think I could eat those macaroons for the rest of my life. And yes, this is the same exact outfit I wore in the last post with some gratuitous macaroon pics thrown in. Whatever, whatever. Deal with it.
Oh sup LA. Nothing like a quick trip when the weather is beyond perfection...sunny, 60 degrees with a hint of a breeze. Picked up some super soft, comfy pieces from Brandy Melville on the Promenade yesterday and basically wore them out of the store. Wore the same outfit to dinner downtown at my favorite, Bottega Louie , and had an impromptu photoshoot on the way home. Oh, LA I love you.
