Oh haaaay, the editorial I shot with the ultimate babe team at Chuck's Vintage last Tuesday is already up on Live Fast Mag! Had an amazing day running around barefoot in beautiful NOE Undergarments lingerie and the best vintage pieces. Dodged cops to skate across Melrose Ave, climbed dirty roofs, broke into an abandoned house, pretended I knew how to play a fifty pound banjo and got hollered at from a TMZ tour van. Also, dirty foot game was STRONG that day. #dirtyfeetandlingerie

I've been sitting on these photos for a hot minute and figured this look is a more than appropriate send off to this weirdly warm-ish October weather. I'm wearing an amazing high waisted denim snake skirt by my favorite, Res Denim, and a sheer blouse I found during a rare thrifting escapade. I left the blouse untucked to create a more laid back look as opposed to defining my waist. I'm all about bare legs with a looser, boxy outfit...blame my tomboy ways if you will. I'm also not usually into prints, let alone printed skirts, but this one is definetley an exception (and no...NOT just because it's denim.) The cool snake print adds an unexpected pop of detail and is perfect for fall with an oversized sweater, some semi-sheer tights and a rad pair of motorcycle boots.

Although I'm not really a skirt-wearing kinda girl the chilly, seemingly out of nowhere, Autumn breezes suddenly have me panicking to get in all the bare-leg time while I still can. So in true anti-girly skirt spirit I wore my favorite suede leather mini and paired it with a denim shirt. Denim and leather...always a good idea. Left the shirt lazily unbuttoned and rolled up the sleeves to avoid looking too *British accent* proper. Wore my favorite cut out booties by YES to keep it simple and add a little edge. Can it just be Saturday, everyday?

About two years ago I wore flannels layered over vintage band tees on a daily basis. Add an Alabama University beanie to top off this weird "hipster-grunge-chic" thing I thought I had going on (key word thought) and you have Rima at eighteen years old. I honestly don't think I've touched a flannel since then...that is until today. Bought this cute little black and white plaid at forever 21 after realizing it's ALL how you style it. You can completely avoid looking like a little grunge kid  by keeping the rest of your look simple. A pair of black skinnies, some strappy heeled sandals and easy bedhead are all you need to transform a truck driver staple into a cool-girl essential.
